Mix up some extra smoothie, and then pour the extra into glass jars and refrigeration, you can eat this in the evening.  If you do not have time to prepare dinner, a smoothie will be a meal replacement idea.  Reminder, most of your heavy eating should be done at breakfast and lunch, never at dinner.  You want most of your food intake for the day to be over by 3pm.

More Tea Sir!

Black tea comes from the camellia sinensis plant (pictured on right).  Black tea was created by God to help your health.  Lipton Tea found in every grocery store is black tea.  Black tea has been drunk for health purposes for thousands of years.  In Southeast Asia, where tea is drank all the time, there are less cases of cancer.  There are 8-10 times more antioxidants (thearubigins, epticatechins, catachins) in black tea than most fruits and vegetables.  You should try to drink at least three cups of black tea per day.  It is very cheap and very healthy for you.  Green tea and black tea have about the same amount of antioxidants.

Some health benefits from drinking black tea:

1.  Brain and Nervous System - Promotes blood flow to the brain; helps you to stay mentally focused and to concentrate. Reduces stress and the hormone cortisol which adds fat to your waistline.  Increases alertness, boosts memory and helps prevent Parkinson's Disease.  The amino acid, L-theanine, in black tea helps you relax.
2.  Cancer Prevention - The polyphenols in black tea prevent ovarian, lung, oral, prostate, colorectal, bladder, breast and stomach cancer.  The TF-2 in black tea kills cancer cells.
3.  Heart - Black tea is abundant in antioxidants and flavonoids.  This helps prevent LDL (bad cholesterol); helps arteries widen; and reduces blood clots; and lowers triglycerides (bad fat in your blood which causes heart attacks).  The manganese in black tea helps heart muscle function.
4.  Skin and Hair - Prevents acne and blemishes.  The DHT in black tea prevents hair loss.
5.  Digestive Tract - The tannins prevent intestinal inflammation and irritable bowel syndrome.
6.  Oral - The catechin antioxidant reduces oral cancers.  The polyphenols and tannins acts as a natural antibiotic and prevents bacteria that causes tooth decay and bad breath.  That means less trips to the dentist.
7.  Immune System - The tannins fight viruses and influenza.  The catechins suppress tumors and the alkylamine antigens help boost the immune system.

Two weeks prior to traveling and during your trip, remember to drink three cups of black tea daily to help boost your immune system to avoid catching traveler's crud.
